Plane Life

GameDev.tv Game Jam 2023 - Life in 2 Dimensions

Controls:

WASD to move

Space to jump

Once you get the plane shifter and found a rift press Shift to go to another plane

Story:

Jacob lived for 30 years of his life believing that everything that he could see around was just for show, that all he could reach was on this plane which stretched indefinitely to both sides. However, he found a device that changed everything he knew about existence and his place in the world. One day, he stepped outside and saw something out of place, getting close, it was a metallic object, and on the back there was writing that said: "Everything you know about the world is but a fraction of the reality, this device is called Plane Shifter, it will show you the truth and guild you out of this multiplane world. But hurry, the exit can't stay open for too long. Good Luck!!"

So, he embarks on a journey to find the truth carrying the hope that there is more than just this plane life.

The assets used was created by me for another project while doing the unity 2D course from GameDev.tv.
